A thief with the munchies has gotten away with chocolates, lollies and pies following a bizarre armed robbery in Logan overnight.
Just after 11.30pm, police were called to a service station on Wembley Road following reports that a man had robebd the store.
“It will be alleged that a man entered the business and produced a screw driver before making threats to the attendant,” officers said in a statement.

The man allegedly damaged a glass door before taking off with a quantity of food including chocolates, lollies and pies.
The hungry thief didn’t get very far and was taken into custody by police a short time later.
A 22-year-old Waterford West man has since been charged with one count of armed robbery and two counts of wilful damage.
He is due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
