Hunt for cattle stolen from Qld property
A year after cattle first started disappearing from a Queensland property, Police have put out a call for information.
Between June 2015 and April this year, 265 heifers have been stolen from Malden Station in Alpha, in the state’s central west.
Extensive inquiries in the local area have failed to locate the missing cattle which are believed to worth approximately $185,000.
The stolen cattle are Droughtmaster cross and are all identifiable by their brand and earmark (pictured below).
Anyone with information which could assist police with their investigations should contact the Longreach Stock and Rural Crime Investigation Squad on 4652 5202 or Crime Stoppers.
