Image of man released after girls ‘touched inappropriately’ in Qld public pool

Police have released an image of a man after two teenage girls were touched inappropriately at a Toowoomba aquatic centre on Saturday December 19.

Between midday and 3.15pm, the man approached a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old girl in the outdoor pool of the complex on Herries Street and repeatedly touched them inappropriately.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, of a solid build, aged in his 30s and with a bald head. He was wearing board shorts with blue or grey squares and may have an accent.

It is thought the man arrived at the pool with two children at 11.55am and was asked to leave by security around 3.20pm.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have been at the pool on Saturday afternoon who witnessed these incidents, or anyone who may recognise the man from the photograph, to come forward.
