Image released of car in relation to death of man who was found in backyard by wife

Police investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Miranda have released an image of a vehicle as their inquiries continue.

About 7pm on Monday (31 August 2015), emergency services were called to a home on Burrinjuck Place after the body of a man was discovered in his backyard.

The man, aged 54, was located by his wife, and appeared to have injuries to his upper body.

Police established a crime scene at the home and an investigation commenced.

Detectives from Miranda Local Area Command have today (Friday 4 September 2015) released an image of a vehicle similar to one that was seen in the street between 3pm-5pm on the day of the man’s death.

The car is described as a lime green Ford Falcon with white stripes, silver/chrome wheels and tinted windows.

Anyone with information about the owner of the vehicle, or with any other information that might assist, is urged to come forward to Miranda Police on (02) 9541 3899 or via Crime Stoppers.
