Images of balaclava-clad man released following GC break-ins

Images of a man have been released after a number of businesses were broken into in Surfers Paradise.

Police said that around 10.00pm on August 24, a man used a crowbar to force entry to a shop on Via Roma.

Once he was inside the business, he then forced open the cash register, taking off with a sum of cash.

Officers believe the same man is responsible for a recent break-in at another business on Via Roma on September 4.

Investigations into the incidents are ongoing, with police releasing two images of a balaclava-clad man who they believe can assist with enquiries.
