Images released of man wanted over string of car fires
Police have released CCTV images as they appeal for information after cars were set alight in Blacktown earlier this month.
About 12:35am (Friday 8 August 2015), emergency services responded to reports of three cars on fire, one on Walters Road and two cars on Heart Place.
Fire & Rescue NSW attended and extinguished the fires.
A red sedan, a utility and a van were destroyed; no other property was damaged and no one was injured as a result of the fires.
Officers from Blacktown Local Area Command attended the scene and commenced an investigation.
Investigators have released CCTV images of a teenager that may be able to assist with inquiries.
He is depicted as being of Caucasian appearance, aged between 15 and 19, with a medium build. At the time he was wearing a white, red and black shirt.
