Inquiry into the death of a Gold Coast toddler at a Queensland Playground

Police and Workplace Health and Safety are looking into the circumstances surrounding the death of a three-year-old boy at a Queensland playground centre.

Police say the child from Coomera was found unresponsive at Inflatable World Toowoomba on Sunday afternoon.

He was discovered at the bottom of a slide with injuries to the back of his head, and then taken to Toowoomba Hospital and on to Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital in Brisbane.


He passed away on Monday afternoon.

Inflatable World Toowoomba have said they are devastated and will be looking into the incident.
