Interest rates on hold at steady two percent

THE Reserve Bank of Australia has today left interest rates untouched following it’s monthly board meeting.

The cash rate remains steady at a record low two percent. The RBA held off slashing the rate by 0.25 percent.

Since November 2011, the official cash rate has fallen a whopping 2.75 percent.
