No one was injured in either incident.
Strike Force Kulalye has been established by Tweed/Byron Detectives to investigate the circumstances surrounding both shootings.
Detectives have interviewed numerous witnesses and are following a number of lines of inquiry.
Investigations suggest the offenders involved in these incidents fired the shots from a white-coloured vehicle.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who saw a white coloured vehicle driving at high speed in the Banora Point area around the time of the offences to come forward.
Additionally, investigators would like to speak with the registered owner of the vehicle involved.
Anyone with information about this incident, or the current whereabouts of the vehicle involved, should call Tweed Heads Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
