Investigations underway after car ploughs into GC powerpole

A driver has had to be cut free from the wreckage of his vehicle after crashing into a power pole in Mudgeeraba overnight.

Emergency crews were called to Strike Way around 11.30pm, following reports of a serious crash.

Upon arrival, they found a car had collided with a powerpole, with the driver still trapped inside.
