Emergency services are on the scene of a car fire in Burleigh Waters this morning.
The flames broke out in what’s understood to be an abandoned building on Kortum Drive around 10.00am.
Three fire fighting crews arrived within 15 minutes, and took just over half an hour to get the blaze under control.

It’s understood the roof of the building collapsed during the inferno, which firies deemed safe by 11.00am.
Nearby business owners reported that they’d seen squatters come and go from the building.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service has confirmed fire investigators will return to the scene later today.
