Investigations underway after man stabbed through car window in Logan

Investigations are underway after a man was stabbed in Logan overnight.

Officers were called to the scene in Yarrabilba, after a 33-year-old man received a single stab wound.

It’s understood a man and woman were travelling along Darlington Drive in a car around 8.30pm, and were followed by unknown people in a white Holden Commodore.

Two men then exited the Commodore armed with baseball bats, before one of the men stabbed the 33-year-old through the passenger window.

The victim was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Paramedics say they treated the man was a wound to his abdomen, and transported him in a serious but stable condition.

Police are now searching for the alleged offender, who’s described as Caucasian, tall, skinny with short brown hair.

He was also wearing a white long-sleeved shirt.

Police say he was travelling in the Commodore with a female driver and another man and woman.

Investigations are continuing.
