Police are appealing for information after a boy was shot in the foot in NSW last night.
Emergency services were called to a home in Denison Street at Mudgee just after 7.30pm.
A 14-year-old boy was treated at the home for a gunshot wound to his foot, before he was taken to the Mudgee Hospital and later airlifted to Orange Base Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.

Police were told the boy had been accidentally shot while hunting rabbits with a friend.
Officers seized a number of items including an unregistered firearm and ammunition from the home for further examination.
Anyone who heard a gunshot in the vicinity of Denison Street, Mudgee, near the intersection of Headley Place is urged to come forward.
