MONTHS of hard work, intense training and study has paid off, with former NRL star Jarryd Hayne realising his lifelong dream of playing in America’s NFL.
The ex-NSW Blues hero has made the San Francisco 49ers’ 53-man roster, after continuing to impress his team, coach, commentators and fans during his debut in the elite form of the game over the past three weeks.
An excited Hayne confirmed the news via Twitter early this morning: “IT ALWAYS WORKS OUT! I’m on the 53 MAN ROSTER FOR THE #49ers”.
The former Parramatta Eels star will now prepare for the 49ers regular season opener against the Minnesota Vikings on September 14.
