“Dress up in green and gold, come down, join everyone in cheering on the Aussies and try out some of the live sports that are on as well.
“There’s lots of activities and we’ve got green and gold beanbags so everyone can sit down and relax and just enjoy our Aussie athletes doing their best. It’s a fantastic atmosphere.”
Olympian Sara Carrigan OAM told myGC the Olympic Live Site was a chance to come together and celebrate the green and gold.
“The Olympics is about bringing community together. Everyone has been through a bit of a rough time, so if we can come and enjoy something and have some inspiration to move forward, then that is a win for us,” she said.
