It has been revealed that the property the duo were arrested on is owned by a man who is missing and suspected murdered with evidence of foul play.
Police have been investigating the disappearance of the owner, who reportedly went missing on October 9.
It’s believed the Stocco’s worked on the property for the man.
The hunt for the fugitives, who are wanted in multiple states over a range of serious criminal offences, intensified earlier this month when they engaged in a shoot-out with officers near Wagga Wagga on October 16.
Gino, 58, and Mark Stocco, 35, are currently in custody and en route to Dubbo police station where they are expected to be charged with multiple offences including attempted murder and illegal use of firearms.
