Another former Titans star is due to face court today on drug charges, as part of the NRL’s cocaine scandal that rocked the code in 2015.
Jamie Dowling follows former team mates Joe Vickery and Dave Taylor, who all pleaded guilty to their charges last year.
Dowling’s court appearance comes off the back of his last minute inclusion in the Burleigh Bears side that took out the Queensland Cup, just yesterday afternoon.
The 25-year-old is scheduled to appear in the Southport District Court, after Joe Vickery was fined $1000 and ordered to complete 120 hours of community service on Friday.
There was no criminal conviction recorded for Vickery.
Several current and former Titans players were implicated in the ongoing Crime and Corruption Commission investigations, with charges against four other Gold Coast players, including Greg Bird, earlier dropped.
Dave Taylor is due to front court in November, when he returns from his season in France.
