Jared Leto slams Taylor Swift’s album 1989
Jared Leto has been caught out slamming Taylor Swift’s hit album 1989.
In a video obtained by TMZ, the 30 Seconds To Mars singer can be seen listening to a number of track’s off the popstar’s latest album with a bandmate in a studio. It’s believed the pair were listening to the album to get some inspiration.
First up, they listen to Welcome To New York which Leto quickly dismisses saying: “Oh, I don’t like this at all. Next.”
Blank Space is up next, with Leto saying it has “a little Sia beat” and that he “liked it”.
Leto held back his thoughts on Style, calling the track an “interesting little pop song”.
At the end of the listening party, Leto can be heard dissing Taylor, saying: “I mean, f**k her. I don’t give a f**k about her. It’s whatever works best for us.”
The 43-year-old has since taken to social media to apologise to Taylor.
On Twitter he wrote:
The truth is I think @taylorswift13 is amazing + an incredible example of what’s possible. If I hurt her or her fans my sincerest apologies.
