Does Jarryd Hayne have a new dream?

The NRL-turned-NFL-turned-Rugby Sevens-turned-NRL again star may have his sight’s set on a Golfing career, as he has been named to play in a pro-am event.

NRL fans can rest easy though, as the notorious code-hopper is only taking part in the competition for charity.

The event, held in Fiji next month, will help raise much needed funds for the Cyclone Winston recovery efforts, with PGA Tour winner Steven Bowditch also set to make an appearance.

Cyclone Winston struck the island nation earlier this year, claiming the lives of 40 people and causing widespread, extensive damage.

Also playing alongside Hayne and Bowditch will be three-time major champion Vijay Singh, Robert Allenby and world No.23 Brandt Snedeker – who will all be in the country for the Fiji International which begins the next day.

The pro-am event will be held October 5.
