The installation of some 16,000 glass panels that will create the glittering façade at Jewel Residences has begun.
Local installers will use cutting edge techniques to secure the panels that will give the billion dollar Broadbeach development its distinctive shape and appearance.
Jewel’s Sales and Marketing Director Frank Joris said that with the façade starting to take shape, locals and visitors would be able to get a true picture of the development in coming months.

“This is a very exciting time for Jewel,” Mr Joris said. “For years now, Gold Coasters have been watching the site change, and in the last year we’ve seen the three towers beginning to rise from the sand.
“In the months ahead, we will finally get a glimpse of Jewel’s face, and a clearer picture of the distinctive crystalline shape of each tower, as the glass façade panels are craned into place.”
Jewel Residences is set to be completed in early 2019.
