You saw him crack up Chrissie Swan numerous times on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, and this weekend Joel Creasey will be delivering more laughs when he hits the stage at Glitter Festival.
The outspoken and openly gay comedian will take to the stage at The Arts Centre Gold Coast on Saturday night. Brimming with excitement to perform at what is “basically the Gold Coast’s Mardi Gras”, Joel told 1029 Hot Tomato’s Flan & Emily Jade he has already packed his “best bikini” to wear around while he is on the glitter strip.
“I am very excited. Glitter Fesitval….is there really a more appropriate festival for me, I think not! Glitter is my life. It’s a celebration of all things homosexual and so of course I got the call. If Josh Thomas got the call before me I would be furious and there would be words – I might send him some sort of package and it would get nasty,” he told the breakfast hosts.

As for what he is most looking forward to at Glitter Festival, Joel told Flan & Emily Jade he can’t wait to perform for Gold Coasters. “People on the Gold Coast like a drink which I really appreciate because that equals good laughers. It’s going to be fun. Us gays, we know how to party, so it’s going to be a big weekend.”
