Two days after the worldwide release of a damaging docu-series painting JonBenét Ramsay’s older brother, Burke, as her killer, his attorney has announced plans to sue CBS and one of the series’ investigators.
The Case of: JonBenét Ramsey, opened up the 1996 unsolved murder case of the 6-year-old beauty queen, combing through existing evidence with modern forensic investigative tools.
Drawing huge audiences worldwide, viewers were left reeling from explosive allegations that Ramsay’s family covered up her death at the hands of her older brother.

Crippling pieces of evidence in the case the series created against the family included further analysis of the original 911 call, when allegedly a child’s voice is heard – despite Burke’s parents insisting he slept through the ordeal.
The show concluded by proposing that JonBenet was not murdered by an intruder, as her family had insisted, but that her 9-year-old brother Burke had struck his sister with a flashlight.
Burke’s attorney has claimed that these allegations will forever haunt his client, who appeared on Dr Phil earlier this month to tell his side of the story.
