EARLIER: The fate of AFL player Majak Daw rests in the hands of a jury after retiring to consider his innocence in a Melbourne rape trial.
Daw, 24, has pleaded not guilty to three counts of rape alleged to have happened when he and a girl went for a walk the night of a party in 2007.
Neither deny sexual activity occurred in a reserve behind the party in March of that year when he was 16 and the alleged victim was 15.
But the girl has told the Victorian County Court that Daw raped her three times.
The North Melbourne footballer claims all sexual acts were consensual.
The jury began deliberating on Wednesday.
