Jury finds woman guilty of 2001 Southport murder

A WOMAN co-accused of murdering a man in a Southport panel-beating workshop 12 years ago has been found guilty.

Despite maintaining her innocence, Tessa Scott from Nine News reports a Supreme Court jury today found Jade Maree Clarke, 40, guilty of her involvement in the brutal bashing death of 31-year-old Darren John Britza in 2001.

Britza’s skeletal remains were found seven years later buried under a bridge near Canungra in the Gold Coast hinterland.
