Justin Hodges cleared of dangerous throw ahead of NRL Grand Final
It’s the fairytale ending all Broncos fans were hoping for…
Brisbane Broncos veteran Justin Hodges has been cleared of his dangerous throw charge on Roosters forward Aidan Guerra, meaning the star skipper will be taking to the field in Sunday’s grand final clash against the Cowboys.
Hodges pleaded not guilty at the NRL judiciary tonight, which lasted over an hour, convincing the tribunal that Guerra was responsible for the tackle going wrong.
Sunday’s grand final will be the last time Hodges takes to an NRL field, with the 33-year-old announcing his retirement earlier in the year.
