Justine Damond’s panicked calls to 911 have been released by US police

The Minneapolis Police Department have released the transcripts of the two 911 calls Justine Damond made to US police on the night she was shot dead by an officer.

In the calls, a concerned Ms Damond told the operator that she wasn’t sure if the woman behind her home was being raped or just having sex.

“I can hear someone out the back and I, I’m not sure if she’s having sex or being raped,” she said.

“I think she just yelled out ‘help’, but it’s difficult, the sound has been going on for a while, but I think, I don’t think she’s enjoying it.”

An incident report also released by US police explains that a squad car arrived at the alleyway behind Ms Damond’s house at 11.39pm.

Just a few minutes later, the responding officers reported a shooting and called for help.

Ms Damond had been shot in the stomach and killed by police officer Mohamed Noor.

He has since refused to speak with investigators.
