Police are appealing for information after a kangaroo was allegedly attached to the back of a car and driven through Goulburn last night.
Officers found the dead kangaroo at the intersection of Auburn and Montague streets at about 11.40pm.
It’s alleged the kangaroo was tied to the back of a green Nissan Pulsar and driven through town before two people cut the animal free and fled.

Police are currently trying to work out whether the kangaroo was alive before being attached to the vehicle and are currently appealing for witnesses.
