Kelly Rowland’s game-changing contestant Sam Perry has won The Voice Australia 2018.
The 28-year-old looping artist from Perth was crowned the winner of the popular reality TV show on Sunday night, scoring himself a recording contract with Universal Music and $100,000 cash.
Before Perry took out the title, host Sonia Kruger announced a double elimination which saw Team Joe’s Aydan Calafiore and Prince George’s Sheldon Riley out of the competition.

It then left both of Kelly Rowland’s artists, Sam Perry and Bella Paige in the running for the top spot, before Kruger announced Sam had taken out the title.
This year’s live finale received more than one million votes, with Kruger confirming it was a new record for the show.
