Kettle Chips recalled over fears they may contain rubber pieces

Certain packets of Kettle Chips have been recalled over fears they may contain white rubber pieces.

Kettle Sea Salt Chips 175g, Kettle Sea Salt Chips 300g and Kettle Rosemary and Sea Salt Chips 175g packets have all been pulled from sale.

The affected packets all have a best before date of November 11, 2017 and were available for sale at Woolworths and Coles stores in NSW and Woolworths in VIC.

A recall notice posted on the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission website says “Food products containing rubber may present a choking hazard if consumed.”

“Consumers should not eat these products due to a possible choking hazard,” the notice reads.

People have been urged to return the affected chip packets to their place of purchase for a full refund.
