Kids terrorised as grandmother is killed, mum tied up in horror home invasion

A GRANDMOTHER has been found dead and a mother tied up alive at a house in Adelaide’s north-east following an apparent home invasion.

Police were called to reports of a disturbance at the Bunbury Terrace home in Valley View just after 10pm last night.

They arrived to find a woman aged in her 50s dead inside the home, while a second woman believed to be aged in her 20s was reportedly found bound and gagged in the yard outside.

Three children were also found inside the house. Police said they were unharmed.

Investigators have confirmed they are treating the woman’s death as suspicious, however, they have not revealed how she died.

It’s understood the incident may be the result of a bungled home invasion.

Major Crime detectives spent the night at the scene, examining the home and combing the street for clues.

Police say they are now searching for two men of Caucasian appearance who were seen leaving the address in a white Holden ute.

Anyone with any information is urged to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
