A skydiving instructor who died in the New South Wales southern highlands tried to shield the teenager he was guiding from the worst impact of their crash landing.
Tony Rokov, 44, died in the accident at Goulburn Airport on Saturday.

The 14-year-old boy he was jumping with was critically injured when the pair fell about 20 metres after a gust of wind slammed them to the ground at the end of an otherwise “normal” jump.
The injured teenager remains in hospital.
