Kmart recalls popular kitchen item – fears blade pieces could fall into food

Popular discount department store Kmart is recalling a spiral vegetable cutter over serious safety fears.

In a recall notice posted on the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission website, Kmart says they have pulled the black spiral vegetable cutters from sale over concerns blade pieces may become lodged in food.

“Due to a manufacturing issue, the blade may break during use,” the notice reads.
