Knife-wielding man holds up Sydney fast food store in daring robbery
Police are investigating the armed robbery of a fast food store in Sydney on Saturday night.
A man armed with a knife allegedly stormed the Belmore Road restaurant in Randwick at around 10pm and threatened staff.
Police said the man threatened two staff members into handing over a stash of cash before fleeing the store.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
Officers raced to the scene and conducted a patrol of the area with the assistance of the Dog Squad, however the man could not be found.
He is only described as being of Caucasian appearance, and wearing a blue hooded jumper, jeans and white joggers at the time of the incident.
A crime scene was established and investigations are continuing.
