Knife-wielding thieves hit Gold Coast bottle-o on pushbikes

Two men are on the run this morning, after robbing a Gold Coast bottle-o at knifepoint overnight.

The pair hit up the business along Marine Parade in Labrador just after 9.00 pm on their bicycles.

One went into the shop armed with a knife, where he demanded money from the 19-year-old attendant.

The attendant opened the till before the thief took cash draw and fled.

The pair got away on their bikes south along Frank Street, and remain on the run this morning.

The 19-year-old wasn’t injured in the ordeal.

Police are investigating.
