Koala joeys stolen from Brisbane’s bayside

Three tiny Koala joeys have been stolen from a home on Brisbane’s bayside.

The trio were at a carer’s house in Ormiston when they were taken sometime between 9 on Thursday night and 6:00AM on Good Friday.

They are around 14-months old and on supplemental feeding and also require medication.

It is also believed that they may not be able to survive if they’re released into the wild and are vulnerable to other animals and traffic.

Police are urging with anyone that may have taken the joeys to call the RSPCA for assistance or to hand them in at their nearest police station immediately.

You can contact Police via Policelink on 131 444 or the RSPCA on 1300 AMIMAL.
