FRESH FROM her Oscars win, and that steamy live rendition of Shallow with co-star Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to set the record straight.
Social media went into a spin when Gaga and Cooper sizzled on stage, locking eyes as they sang the duet from the movie A Star Is Born.
People were speculating that they had actually fallen in love off-screen. Seeming to forget the fact, they are actors.

“Social media, quite frankly, is the toilet of the internet,” Gaga said to Kimmel.
“Yes, people saw love, that’s what we wanted you to see!” she went on. “This is a love song, Shallow. The movie, A Star Is Born, is a love story.
“We worked so hard, we worked all week on that performance,” she said, before explaining how she handed the reigns over to Cooper to direct the live performance.
“Everything that you saw, the way that it was shot, the way they pushed the piano out… us walking out on stage, that was all (Bradley).
“From a performance perspective, it was so important to both of us that we were connected the entire time.
“I’m an artist, I guess we did a good job. Fooled ya!” she joked.
During the chat, Gaga also admitted that when she won the Academy Award for Best Original Song (along with Mark Ronson, Andrew Wyatt and Anthony Rossomando) for Shallow, it was like all her hard work had paid off.
“When we won, it was like my whole artistic journey flashed before my eyes.”
While showing off her Oscar she revealed Kimmel had gifted her a set of underpants for the ‘naked’ trophy to wear.
