Gold Coasters are being invited to the official opening of the WINGS Wellbeing centre at Molendinar as part of Brain Injury Awareness (ABI) week.
Julie Williams, General Manager of Headway Australia, says ABI awareness week is essential to raise awareness about brain injuries and the impact of brain injuries on individuals, families and the wider community.
From 21st to the 25th August, the local community is being invited to the new wellbeing centre to access the unique technologically advanced equipment that is changing the lives of so many people with brain injuries.

From Monday 21st August to Friday 25th August, Headway ABI will also be presenting a range of free workshops and forums each day with practical tools and tips for everyday living with a disability, carers support and information workshops with Carers Queensland and most importantly, forums for people to share their inspirational stories of recovery.
