Lavish night planned to raise funds for Cancer Council

A LAVISH soiree under the stars has been planned to help raise funds for Cancer Council.

On November 8, Gold Coasters are invited to head along to Polly’s Country Kitchen in Neranwood for a special evnet hosted by Sugar & Spice Events.

The night will kick off at 5pm with canapés under the stars followed by a two course feast from Canadian Kitchen served in the grand marquee.

Following dinner, guests will be able to enjoy a dessert buffet from Delicious Decadent Cakes and an espresso martini bar, while being wowed by roving entertainment including a special performance by Aerial Angels.

Director of Sugar and Spice Events Decinda MacDonald said it will be a truly amazing event.

“We are throwing everything we’ve got at this event to make it a night that will be one to remember,” she said.

“I am overwhelmed by the generosity from our vendors, with most of them kindly donating their goods and services which will help us raise more money for the Cancer Council.

“Our goal is to raise at least $10,000 which we hope will be achievable through ticket sales and a raffle on the night.”

“We are throwing the event in honour our friend, Paul Freeman, who sadly lost his battle with bowel cancer in June at the young age of 30.”

Tickets are $150 each and  include a private coach transfer by Coachlink from Broadbeach and back with an after party starting at 10:30pm at LOVE night club with free entry and $5 basic drinks all night.
