Leaked Ashley Madison passwords include ‘thisiswrong’ and ‘ithinkilovemywife’

PASSWORDS used to gain entry into cheating website Ashley Madison have been made public, with some of them sure to make you laugh.

After the hack on Ashley Madison, a dating website for married people who want to have an affair, various information was made public, including some users’ passwords.

Members of the CynoSure Prime password-cracking collective published the top 100 mostly commonly used Ashley Madison passwords recovered so far, with the top including 123456, 12345, and password.

However the far more interesting passwords that users had attached to their accounts included –

  • whyareyoudoingthis

  • donteventhinkaboutit

Ashley Madison, whose slogan is “Life is short. Have an affair,” admitted that it had been hacked in July after personal information of thousands of its users was revealed.
