At least 70 killed in Pakistan Hospital bombing
At least 70 people have died and more than 100 have been seriously injured in a horror bomb blast at a hospital in south Pakistan.
A suicide bomber let off the blast in the emergency department of a hospital in Quetta on Monday local time.
It occurred while hundreds of lawyers and journalists gathered at the hospital to mourn a colleague who had been shot dead earlier in the day, The Guardian reports.
A faction of the Pakistani Taliban has since claimed responsibility.
Today’s bombing of a hospital in Pakistan is despicable. We have to stand up against terror and come together to prevent these attacks. -H
