Lifeguards perform CPR on child pulled unconscious from Gold Coast beach
A CHILD has reportedly been pulled unconscious from the surf on the Gold Coast.
It’s understood the dramatic scenes unfolded in the last hour at a beach in Broadbeach.
Nine News reporter Sam Cucchiara was at the scene and first to break the news online.
The journalist took to Twitter, saying lifeguards had performed CPR on an 11-year-old boy.
His condition is not known.
It comes after lifeguards were forced to assist two swimmers back to shore at Main Beach.
