Light plane crashes into airpark

Two men have had a lucky escape after a light plane flipped on landing at a Queensland airpark.

The men, both in their 70s, were treated for minor injuries after they managed to get out of the aircraft, which finished on its roof at the Gatton Airpark west of Brisbane just after 11am on Tuesday.

One was airlifted to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandria Hospital with neck pain while the other was taken to Gatton Hospital with a minor leg cut.
