Liquor shop staffer injured by flying bottles SW of Brisbane

Bottles of alcohol have been hurled at an employee during a robbery southwest of Brisbane overnight.

Police say three men and a woman walked into a licensed premises at Forest Lake just before 11:00PM on Saturday night.

They took several bottles off the shelves, before a staff member told them to leave.

Two bottles were then thrown at the worker, one hit him in the torso the other connected with a shelf and smashed.

The group left in a silver coloured four-wheel drive.

One man is described as aged in his 20s and wearing a black t-shirt with a skeleton pattern and white hood covering his face.

The second man is described as wearing a blue tracksuit jumper and white jeans.

The third man was wearing black pants and a black jumper while the female was wearing a white shirt and grey jumper.

The 44-year-old employee suffered minor injuries to the ribs, however did not require medical treatment.

Investigations are continuing, with police appealing to anyone who may have information in relation to this incident to contact them.
