Little boy found alone at car wash reunited with his parents

UPDATE at 2:05 PM | A LITTLE boy found alone at a car wash in Brisbane has been reunited with his parents.

The boy, described by police as being around three-years-old, was found alone and in his pyjamas at a car wash in Rothwell, north of Brisbane just after 7am on Saturday.

The Queensland Police Service released a statement a short time ago, confirming the boy had been identified and reunited with his parents.


It is not known how the child became separated from his family.

Police have thanked the media and members of the public for their assistance.

FIRST at 9:00 AM | A YOUNG BOY has been found, alone and in his pyjamas at a car wash near Moreton Bay, north of Brisbane.

Police released a statement, confirming the little boy, believed to be around three-years-old, was discovered in Rothwell around 7.10am on Saturday.

They have appealed to the public to help find the boy’s parents or carers, after extensive patrols failed to locate anyone that knows him.

He is described by police as being Caucasian in appearance and around 100cm tall with blonde curly hair and blue eyes.

He is wearing Ninja Turtle shorts and a shirt with monsters on it.

The boy is currently with police and anyone who knows him or his caregivers is being urged to contact police immediately.
