BANGLADESH is looking to solidify its place in the top four of Group A as it takes on Scotland in Tuesday’s World Cup clash in Nelson.

Bangladesh is on track for a surprise quarter-final berth as it currently sits in fourth spot, two points ahead of England courtesy of a win over Afghanistan and a rained out clash with Australia.

However the Bangladeshis will be looking to get back into the winners’ circle after suffering a thumping defeat at the hands of Sri Lanka last week.

Scotland is yet to win a World Cup match — in this tournament or at any other — but will be hoping to rectify that record at Saxton Oval.
