A Gold Coast business has made an incredible pledge to the Titans Community Kick-In, signing over $30,000 to the initiative.
During a chat with 1029 Hot Tomato’s Flan, Emily Jade & Christo this morning, Titans CEO Steve Mitchell announced The Coghlan Group had contributed the money to support the ‘league-ability’ program.
“Dave and Doug Coghlan have been long term founding supporters of the club since its inception. Their heart and soul is in the community,” he said.

Mr Mitchell said the money will help put together a competition for the Titans’ physical disabilities rugby league program.
“This will allow us to run league-ability days throughout the year and do it around the Coast,” he said.
“We want to have Titans team that play in a league-ability competition, and move into Brisbane and have a Broncos competition happening too.”
In just five weeks, the Titans Community Kick-In has managed hit its target of raising $50,000. The club is now looking to raise an extra $10,000 over the next two weeks to further assist the local community.
Mr Mitchell told Flan, Emily Jade & Christo the money raised during the Community Kick-In will go directly to the local schools, clubs, charities, programs and community organisations funded by the Titans Community Foundation.
“We are not lost in the fact that the community is the basis that the club is built on,” he said.
“When you’re not going great on the paddock, it’s the community that you are endeared to that gets you through.”
