“Not many people like to talk about suicide, so if we can create an open space where people can talk about their fears, their experiences and family or friends they’ve lost, we’re happy to provide that opportunity,” he said.

Mr Price said they are hoping to raise $10,000 from the event. You can donate here!

Gold Coasters are also invited to cheer on the runners on Saturday and enjoy the festivities, with a jumping castle for the kids, face painting, art and craft activities and food and market stalls.

The event will be held at Price Fitness, 3/5 Hawker St, Currumbin Waters and runs from 5pm Friday until 6pm Saturday.
