LOGAN BABY DEATHS: Police appeal for help to identify tradie
Police are appealing for help to identify a man, as investigations into the deaths of two young girls at Logan continue.
Officers were called to a home on Logan Reserve Road around 1.35pm on Saturday, following reports two children had been found unresponsive inside a car.
The two girls, aged one and two, were declared deceased at the scene.
The mother of the children, a 27-year-old woman, has since been charged with two counts of murder and remains in custody.
As investigations into the tragic incident continue, detectives are asking for help to identify a man who was seen walking in a southerly direction along Logan Reserve Road, towards Muchow Road, around 1.15pm that day.
The man is Caucasian in appearance and was wearing a high-visibility shirt, tradesman shorts, work boots, a white hat and was carrying a black backpack at the time.
Police say he is a potential witness and have emphasised that he is not considered a suspect.
Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
