Logan man hospitalised after argument turns into violent stabbing

A man’s been arrested and charged, over the serious stabbing of a man in Logan overnight.

Emergency services rushed to a home along Jada Court in Slacks Creek before 9.00pm, following reports that an argument had turned violent.

On arrival, a man in his 50s was assessed for an arm injury, before he was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.

Police have since charged a 39-year-old man, believed to be known to the victim, with wounding and acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.

He’ll front court this morning.

Also last night, emergency services were called to an address in Eagleby around the same time, where another man had sustained serious injuries in an alleged wounding.

Queensland Ambulance report that he was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition, but there were no further details around his injuries.

Police say that there were no complaints made about the incident, so they’re not investigating.
