Logan resident repeatedly stabbed during home invasion

There has been a violent home invasion at Loganlea, with a resident stabbed in the arm and head.

Police say at 3.45pm on Friday afternoon two men forced their way into a home in Pinelands Drive.

A 23-year-old man who was home at the time, interrupted the men and got into a fight with them.


He was then stabbed several times.

The two men have then left the house and stole the resident’s car, a green 2009 Ford Fiesta hatchback.

One of the men is described as Caucasian, in his late teens or early twenties, approximately 170cm tall with a slim build and short dark hair.

The other man is described as of Pacific Islander appearance, with a slim build and short dark hair.

The 23-year-old resident was transported to Logan Hospital with stab wounds to his arm and head. He is expected to make a full recovery

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area around the time of the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
